Seamus Cuddihy -
Scarface
The lion’s head (Scarface) started life as the stump of a Cherry tree that was given to me by a friend who had the tree chopped down in his front garden.
The finished piece is mounted on a Bahama Blue granite base and measures 70 cm H x 46 cm W x 62 cm D.
It took approximately 150 hours to complete -
Scarface had its first outing when it was exhibited at Fulham Palace, London in August 2013 as part of a Surrey Sculpture Society exhibition.
