Fish Eagle

Created in 2025 in stainless steel, “Fish Eagle” came about after a friend casually said that he would love one day to have an eagle sculpture mounted on top of his gazebo looking like it was about to swoop over his swimming pool to catch a fish. He didn’t wish to commission me, which was absolutely fine, and we said no more about it.

However, it got my creative juices flowing and I excitedly set to work researching images, creating drawings and constructing a 3D model in cardboard as “proof of concept”. It took several weeks before I committed to fabricating my prototype (artist’s proof) in stainless steel.

After months of trials and errors I was able to show my friend what I had created and he was “blown away” - it was exactly what he had envisaged in his head. He and his wife liked it so much that they bought it straight away. The video below shows the sculpture on the day of installation.

Fish Eagle is available as a limited series and is suitable for placement indoors or outside. It is fully weather proof.
